Jared replied Jan 17, 2008Well said. This has been difficult for me. It is a lot harder then it sounds! 2 problems: 1) I have a tendancy to get stopped out only to find that the trend isn't over (usually from a large market spike possibly due to a news release). 2) In order ...

Jared replied Jan 17, 2008Are you pyramiding when a trend occurs? Thats the only way I have been able to make this system profitable, despite occaisional whipsaws. Like I mentioned in an earlier post, by pyramiding on vHands I was able to produce a 54% gain in 3 weeks on ...

Jared replied Jan 16, 2008Kevin might have a better answer but here's mine: It looks like the market is ranging. This strategy doesn't work very well in a ranging market, but it works extremely well in a trending market. What I have found is that after a strong move like is ...

Jared replied Jan 15, 2008I have been testing this system on vHands for a while now, and it seems to work well for the most part. The trouble I have is the arbitrary 50 pip stop loss. I get stopped out too much (especially GBP/JPY). What I have found that works better it ...

Jared replied Jan 10, 2008I guess it goes back to the royal question of "where do I place the fibs?" The third example I took as well and won on, there was one AFTER that one that was stopped out. The first one I have marked was pulled from the big down move, and was stopped ...

Jared replied Jan 10, 2008There, I took the green fib off, it just looks more confusing with it on and it is irrelevant anyway.

Jared replied Jan 10, 2008Correction, the green fib is drawn wrong, upside down and the top should be 3 candles back, sorry, but I'm sure you can see with the loosing fibs.
