As far as backtesting this is what the forex tester 2 people have to say about porting over EA's to FT2: MetaTrader 4 experts can only be used in MetaTrader itself. Anyway this is not a big problem, MT4 experts could be rewritten by a programmer ...

Good idea. I have never had very good luck with the mt4 srategy tester. Now if the code was converted to work with forex tester 2 that might work but I am not a programmer and everytime I have one convert an indicator I am a little poorer.

It's happened to me several times, I make a change in the settings and save then suddenly I have new trade or it doubles up on a trade even though I have max trade per pair set to 1.
