Back testing can give you an idea of results, but I have found there are inconsistancies, so authenticate your data with forward testing on a demo account....JMHO

Think about placeing a limit order that is twice the amount of your current order in place of a stop....this effectivly closes and reverses your position, so if what would have been a stop gets hit your back in the market with a profit.....I hope ...

trading during NFP

Oanda is a great place to trade. But their charting is a bit weak....I think wht most traders who use Oanda do is for thir charting and studies they use meta trader or VT trader and place their orders with oanda. Thats what I do anyway...
