Jared replied Feb 19, 2008Would anybody like to talk about where they put their stops using this strategy? I know it depends on the trade but using fibs where is the best place for a stop? This is more important than an entry many times. How do you avoid whipsaws, yet not ...

Jared replied Feb 15, 2008FXCM analysts say profit taking is what is driving cable down, and they expect it to bounce back up and stay within a range. I am currently down after entering of the GMT 6:00 candle long. My stop is wide to ride out the bounce. I may enter another ...

Jared replied Feb 11, 2008Arrrrrrg! I can only idly watch you guys make money as FXCM is having technichal difficulties. I was short on GBP/JPY on the breakout of the range but had to exit prematurely due to platform problems. I was also short GBP/USD but again, only 16 pips ...

Jared replied Feb 11, 2008Hi Bo, Do you mind explaining why the first 3 candles that opened above the long fiib in your example were not valid entries? They looked like it to me, but they would have possibly caused some stop outs due to whipsaw price action. I circled them ...

Jared replied Feb 7, 2008Thanks mom. I will practice more agressive entries on vHands. I have a tendancy not to enter unless the trade looks like it is a sure thing, but if you have a tight stop like that then your risk/reward is very good.
