Stop Loss !! — Just had an unnexpected event .... a trade closing with a stop loss I thought the ea does not place any SL Is that correct ? Made a mess of my test

Stop Loss — I still seem to be having issues with the SL EUR buy trade opened @ 1.3305 and set initial SL correctly below last swing ... I have addpipstostop set @ 15 But has now moved SL to 1.3308 ( +3 ) I have BE set @ 15/3, so it suggests ...

Seems you have not quite got it yet TMA centre line below 240 ma is a sell EDIT .... maybe you meant the AUDCHF ? .... which should be a buy, but I would suggest is a marginal trade because of TMA / ma relationship

Yep, but I am only on L2 My order opened on the 5th ( probably because I reset demo's on the 4th ) Also have a sell on AUSUSD from 5th, L2 again It happens quite often and DD is to be expected, but so far bot has traded them out eventually EDIT .... ...

Whip In your example .... assuming you have the bot set to default, which would place SL below previous swing low .... you would have already been closed out for a small loss and now in a new trade at the lower entry level

I may be wrong but it was my understanding Bobs strategy is to close the trade when price reached the opposite TMA line ( unless closed before by other trade management rules, BE , jumping stop etc )? .... or his Close ea of course If that is ...
