Chris P replied Apr 2, 2009YW Pip. You took the right decision in weighing up all of the pro's and con's and coming to your own conclusion. Where people can struggle with this is by blindly following others' plans. As Bundy said, you're on the right path

Chris P replied Apr 2, 2009Hey Pip, This isn't wholly directed at you. More of a general method of developing a trading skill set. When I first started out reading this thread I went through the exact same process. Some contributors would be giving reasons to not take a trade ...

Chris P replied Apr 2, 2009My bad, just realised you were basing your trade off of the 4h chart rather than the daily which I commented on.

Chris P replied Apr 2, 2009I would view this bar as a Bearish Engulfing Bar, as the body of the bar encompasses the whole body of the previous bar. A Bearish Outside Bar needs a higher high and a lower low of the previous bar. These types of bars should be looked for at swing ...

Chris P replied Mar 24, 2009I've cancelled my order on this one. Euro is starting to look weaker across the board, where as Sterling is gaining. I'll wait for some PA on the daily now before jumping in on this pair.

Chris P replied Mar 24, 2009Hey Clock, Do you combine 4h bars at all? I've got an 8h PB formed on CHF/JPY, formed through a weekly ppz at 87.00, which I'm in on at the moment. Just wondering if this is something you use in your trading? Best, Chris

Chris P replied Mar 24, 2009I like the location of this PB, nice 4h ppz which can be seen from zooming the chart out. Areas of potential resistance are marked on the chart. I'd expect this one to move slowly as we're only 1h away from London close. Best, Chris

Chris P replied Mar 24, 2009Hey Artov, Carefull with the GBP/JPY bars, the close of those two 4h bars wasn't within the previous bar, so technically NOT a PB. EUR/GBP however is the better looking of the other two options. Best, Chris

Chris P replied Mar 18, 2009Thanks guys! Didn't jump onboard eur/usd as it had a few previous highs to get past and I have a ppz at 1.3050. Worked out just fine though if you decided to take it
