DL, we meet again.
I did eyeball it and it looks good to tell you the truth. But my eyes have been deceived before.

Looks like some of these entries (engulfing + 50SMA) would be easy to code into an EA to test. Too bad I suck at coding.
I might need to start learning. I hate paying for the EA only to find out that it sucks a$$.Engulfing bars

Yeah, I was hoping to find a reputable non-US broker that allows hedging and does not require FIFO. currently I use FinFX. But they are not reputable enough for a bigger account. I prefer STPs/ECNs but am open to anything.

HankT, Learn from me. I have been haphazard with my entries (i.e., trying to time reversals). Wait for some confirmation and then get in. Hint: Use the time feature. If you think it is a good time to place the EA on th chart, you may want to change ...
Price is Everything (Long Term and Semi-Auto Edition)

The reason why I stopped testing is because the entries were off and thus hurting profitability. Let's say that we played both sides of the market. At the end of the day, there should be at least 5 entries in the direction of profit (i.e., 5 buy ...

Another idea which may help profitability: Instead of having fixed SL per entry, can you code it to be more dynamic? I don't think dynamic is the right word but... Entry 1 = Buy 1 lot at 1.0090 with SL of 1.0070. Entry 2 = Buy 1 lot at 1.0110 At ...

can someone help me complete this? I worked to create a basket stat indicator with an object layer. I did this so that we can add more than one indicator on one chart. This is important, for me, because my rat EA has several entries with different ...

I completely agree that combining the two EAs is the way to go. By limiting the time the EA trades to only volatile times, using Rat entries with your order handing functionality, I think will work pretty well. Rat EA almost always goes into profit ...

I am still testing snowroller. After being down over $1k, it is about BE. It definitely does a good job getting back to BE when in a loss position but I am wondering why it cannot accumulate anything much more than that. Maybe you should consider a ...

This is what happened with EJ. Two good days of momentum...signficantly in profit but I got greedy. I need to take some profit next time. When there is this much momentum, the likelihood of continuation is...well, not likely. image

Does anyone want to help me make a shorter term version where we can use H1 or H4 supply and demand zones for entries? Please?
