Go5 replied Jun 1, 2019As far as I can see, your MA is a Triangular MA (34) which is available with ctrader. You can do the same with MT4 if you set the attached tma to 67. file

Go5 replied May 11, 2019Nice result, april was good! With my SL method I get 63% wins for 570 pips (46 trades). Other months however were not so smooth: image Can you say anything about your average/ max. drawdown?

Go5 replied May 11, 2019I already tested the M15, hovers around 70% but with an average R/R of 1.0 - so the profit curve is certainly smoother. The next thing to find out, is if actions like moving the SL on a counter - arrow make sense...

Go5 replied May 11, 2019I am testing M5 (gold) and it goes in profit but with a rather poor R/R of only 1.2 (since jan 15) - SL above arrow (I like to define my risk), exit trailing after 20/80 cross. Winners : 55%. Did you work out any stats for your type of exit?

Go5 replied May 4, 2019Thanks Chris. Do tou only exit according your rule (opposite 20/80 cross)? The thing is, I saw some heavy losses that way...
My Last Humble Request

Go5 replied Apr 12, 2019Thank you for the warning. I have read the thread and that post and still wondering, Yes, USDCHF moves the other way but as I see it, that is of no advantage here since we both sell and buy. EURCHF however moves more in ranges and that would be an ...

Go5 replied Apr 12, 2019I wonder what would be the advantage of a similar to EU moving pair? If I were to take on the added risk of trading the chf it would be with EURCHF which is less trending, generating more profits.

Go5 replied Mar 18, 2019Thanks for your findings! These kind of results however, will be significantly less when testing during e.g. 4/16...11/17. Especially with the 1-3-2-6 cycle which I believe works best when the TP is fixed and with a low deviation of the typical ...

Go5 replied Mar 14, 2019As soon we reduce the SL, the probability of hitting the target also gets smaller so I was thinking in the line of only taking a part (or max 100%) of the favourable excursion. So, price moves 20 pips+, SL is reduced with 10 pips or so (50% of the ...

Go5 replied Mar 14, 2019Similar, but not quite the same. The sequence 1-3-2-6 for ex. cannot be done with a fixed factor. You would need to specify your preferred sequence as (x,x,x,x,...), can be 2, 3 or more numbers. For the Ultron we don't need more than 4 I think. ...

Go5 replied Mar 14, 2019The top performer betting sequence will be different for every trader because it has its impact on DD, margin% etc. but once coded would make things easier. Another (almost) overlooked improvement could be the gradual reducing of the SL (NOT BE or ...

Go5 replied Mar 13, 2019Some food for discussion: In the period starting from 2015 there have been lesser results, as has been mentioned. The typical consecutive wins/losses however make it possible to use some form of a betting sequence like inverse d'Alembert or 1-3-2-6. ...

Go5 replied Feb 15, 2019That's weird, I get a PF of > 1.2 for that period. The "faulty" close on your pic. seems like a SL to me with a badly placed arrow?
