personally I was a bit shocked when i saw the $20 million requirement... and how few firms might be able to meet it. I kinda like competition. Can't some of the firms that won't be able to meet it just move offshore, to europe or somewhere else ...

I would not call this an absolute hardcore truth... Well the first 2 sentences would be. However seems like you saying that by limiting risk you limit gains almost proportionately. This only makes sense if you are trading the exact same system/style ...

ah, I was just thinking that when the cap gets upped then each broker gets scrutinized to make sure they can truly meet it.
