      DXY clearly shows a decline - dollar being shorted out of treasuries. Good data gives confidence to go for risk assets - dollar bearish. But you are right that's before the US data. Couldn't find anything other than this Basel Banking Rules May Be ...

      To take profit is always a good thing regardless what happened afterwards. I just got stopped out @ BE for positions pre Aussie data after good US Unemployment. Will scale in short for E/A depends on E/U.

      If I am not mistaken, Euro alone is 50.14% weighted on the Dollar. USDX = 50.14348112 × EURUSD ^ -0.576 × USDJPY ^ 0.136 × GBPUSD ^ -0.119 × USDCAD ^ 0.091 × USDSEK ^ 0.042 × USDCHF ^ 0.036

      Of course that's pure speculation on my part by watching the charts movement. Without hard data not possible to quantify but since AUD declined, E/A spiked +500 Pips and now the reverse.

      Same here, sudden +53 pips spike. I believe AUD may still rise because EUR drops at the same time AUD rises and with the SP downgraded Spain, the money could flow to AUD.
