QZ: can you post a link to the "Close all Orders" EA? And... do you just set this to run at the beginning of each week and let it go? Do you reset at the end of friday or just let whatever orders are open carry on to the next week. (I suspect the ...

QZ: Interesting! are you using this EA to do that? If so, can you elaborate on your settings.... sounds like your "close all" is another EA? To all: Looks to me like that all of our sequence-ending trades at 40p profit ALL go onto much more, but AT ...

ummm... I noticed you use european form, 0,01. The EA is written in formal decimal, 0.01.... so if you input 0,01 in the EA lots input, it probably won't recognize it as a number, and hence, won't trade?? just a thought... Ditto on the bashing, Mer. ...

Yes.... you just have to edit the inputs, toward the bottom, where it lists the lot sizes & progression. It is set by default to a mini lot: .1;.1;.2 etc... just change it to: .01;.01;.02 etc. In fact, you can change it to whatever size sequence you ...

I think the only "bug" is if both Price and Time are set to false... Price:false and Time:true has worked great for me too.... Edit: deleted discussion about trading the UJ starting at 1200 or 1300 gmt.. I had my time set wrong last night, which is ...

Good intro for the 'ol Martingale discussion! Already stated earler... I too am an ex-D'Alembert trader. This approach here is more conservative, and one thing I like is that it sequences relatively quickly! But, as in all progressive lot systems, ...

OK... but (and I love fibs!).... Isn't our conservative entry on the 89 system to enter at the first close below the 89 aura after a break of the 89 River bank? (your red dashed line...) In which case our entry would be at the OPEN of the candle ...

This would be a great application for a virtual private server. I use one. godaddy.com, but there are others... about $250 a year. ...... Look forward to seeing this develop. I LOVE the math on this. Used the Binary (modified D'Alembert progressive ...

Is 20p a day per pair reasonable? I would say not really.... Only because it just isn't done. Anywhere. That would be 5,200per year, every year, per pair. Trading 5 pairs, 26,000p per year??? Reasonable?? Well, if so, why isn't it being done by ...

And.... there is absolutely nothing wrong with manually closing any EA's trades according to one's own management plan. EAs are just tools, like indicators, patterns, price action, etc... We are not to be "owned" by them... That said, I'm all for ...

OK, this sounds like fun!! any idea as to when you do this, every 4hr candle?? But you could lose 100p fairly easily if the price does not get 5p+spread away from the open one direction or the other... example: open at 210.90. with say 8p spread on ...

My Stoch was less than the signal for the GU pair, so no trade... On the daily, my IBFX showed a 52+ RSI, so close, but not as close as RJO.. I am fine for the week, so I would have taken a long trade earlier, if it had developed, but it didn't, so ...

If you are looking for a strictly mechanical system, with "perfect" rules, this isn't it. Good luck!! With a "Steinitz" quote, that tells a lot. Hope you didn't bust your account with his MTF EA like so many others did a month ago, trading a strict ...
