The 'feel-good' effect of the EZ now with the willingness of cooperation of ECB, EC, IMF & Germany helping out Greece, Spain is just the sugar coating. Troika is ok with Greece's austerity & many parties are willing to help Spain. But in real sense, ...

The trend is still too short to see.... But seeing the EZ instability & prolonged crisis, more funds will flow back to Swiss despite EFSF/ESM. I see the sight deposits slowly gaining again. CHF will eventually strengthen over some time, but very ...

Well I have small Buy Limits set at 1.2060, 50, 40 and huge limits below 1.2030. Hoping for another drop or spike down. If previously spike ups are common, then spike downs are possible like the Oct 10th spike down due to State Street. Not much ...

It seems that EURCHF is under constant but slow subtle downward pressure. Every 'spike' up, probably from EURUSD or EUR longs will be met with eventual slow gradual decline back. Sight deposits out of Swiss have reduced last week, but it's too early ...

EURCHF has broken below its 100 SMA & EMA in the H1 chart. Looking for a downtrend. Psychological support 1.2080 - Oct 1st low.

You are right... Swiss is a small but resilient economy. Attacks against CHF Soros-style will have a significant effect on CHF, but with SNB printing its way out defending the floor, the attacker will give up first. And yes, EURCHF seems to trace ...

None that I see. All my brokers still have no discrimination on leverage on this pair in particular.

The pair is getting rather boring - but good for scalpers raking in 10-15pips in the tight range it's trading around 1.2090 zone. I still believe there are room for movement in either direction. Some of us wants it to go up, for me I want it to go ...

Are you seriously shorting EURCHF? till below 1.20? I'm a long. I'm hoping it will go down only to reload, then to go up again. I've got almost no more positions to make more money if it goes up now...

Nice to see you in this thread again Brinks. I've closed almost all my posn, left with 1 lot open. Eagerly waiting & hoping for a drop back to below 1.2020 to reload. Also doing nothing but waiting & following up on economic news. Best of luck

I also notice many of our 'old pals' of 1.2010 are not writing much here... Where is Brinks? We miss you. Oh well, something is certain about this pair - "It's pattern is always uncertain". See the pair's behavior just from SNB's meetings when they ...

I'm no expert too, but I think Sight Deposits is not what SNB is 'printing' to buy EUR or bonds etc. Sight Deposits are inflows (incl majority foreign inflows) from other EZ members or elsewhere into Switzerland. Due to this inflow, CHF will ...

It looks logical for a 3rd drive.... On the downside, don't it look like a head & shoulders pattern for a potential downside too? - just an opinion.

Totally agree with you (last 2 posts) - EURCHF will definitely go down. It's just tracing the EUR. Unlike the USD, US is just 1 country. Euro consists of many countries, & when 1 sneezes, the whole EUR will catch a cold & plunge down. So will EURCHF.

It will still go down further from 1.2094. No solid reasons, just my instincts that people from EZ will not stop their flow into CH safe haven just abruptly. Just wait till next week's sight deposits figure. I don't think it will stagnate or reduce.
