Palmer, I think I had the same problem, too. It happened after I had used the new Download feature. I deleted the existing M1 data in my history folder, re-launched metatrader, and then imported OK.

I use a little Nirvana. Just take your favorite CD, rip the songs you want into WAV format, place them in the MetaTrader/sounds directory and then use whichever one's you want. You can also use a sound editing program to cut the song down.
