Hi Petar I have been emailing 45Fxguy about some of his ideas and I think that combining the ideas of the team in one thread with the right attitude could be very interesting. Having said that, I have looked at the template and there is a lot going ...

Thanks for that Bali. I also found those graphics from asdf very interesting and useful. K

Pivots — Bali I am not a big pivot fan but interested in your approach. In the chart just posted, if you took the trade shown would you have set your TP at the M3 line? Where would you set your SL - just below the lower pivot line? These are ...

45Fxguy - thanks for the vid on the Sunshine Coast. Not all of the ladies are as attractive as Amelia but some of her facts are wonky. She didn't even mention the southern end of the coast where I live at Pelican Waters/Caloundra. Noosa is a tourist ...

45Fxguy I was probably out of place with my remarks anyway but I will have a look at synergy too! I think Lou is right though - this is a generic Renko thread and all ideas are welcome. I was just a bit disappointed that we had veered away from what ...

I went to bed last night (I am in Australia) happy that I had a new strategy that was simple and promising. All I hoped for were some possible aids to improve the odds. Maybe some kind soul would make an EA out of it. But when I tuned into the ...

Last trade I took was a nice winner. I have an EA takes 10 pip profit on 70% of order while the balance runs with trailing stop after moving the BE to just into positive territory. I have had 4 trades today - 3W-1L - net gain of $250. Nice. image

xBweNx Thanks for the MM suggestions. I agree 10 is too small for SL - confirmed by visual back check. 30 may be better but 10 scalping is not good R:R so your longer TP makes more sense. Has anyone considered this system for an EA. I believe it ...

Hi xBweNx Do not be surprised by the interest in your strategy - it looks good on first study. I am now starting to forward test on demo. There are a few false starts which are a worry but your experience that the wins are greater than the losses is ...

Hi Jazz - by using -300 and +300 for the fixed values for the MACD, I get the exact result you have with -30, +30. Anyway - it works. Thanks Karl

Hi Jazz Those settings produce a strange effect on my chart! For the MACD do you mean the -30, +30 to go in the common settings - min, max? The other settings for the MACD I have left as before - 12, 26, 9 - standard settings for MACD.

45FXGuy I also think the RSI TrendCatcher has promise. There are a bunch of dots shown on the charts which I have been unable to explain. Do you have any idea what they are or what they do? Karl

I just had a thought - perhaps we could delete the RSI plot and the 55/45 lines completely - relying only on the arrows and alerts from the indi I posted. It would simplify the chart but I guess the likely movement of the RSI would not be seen. Karl

Rebel - that looks more like my plot - the RSI/White line relationship is still a bit different to mine. I am going to open RSI in its own panel as it is less congested that way. I think the important thing is the MACD white line to the histogram ...

Both of the RSI indis look interesting but the RSI-8_CROSS_Sound shows arrows when the crosses occur. It also has sound but I have not yet experienced a cross to know what to expect! I shall wait and see. The other indi opens a new panel and plots ...

Hi Rebel What is the MACD you have on your chart? Comparing it to mine, it is quite different. I have the MACD_Colored_v105 as per xBweNx template but my white line is considerably lower compared to the RSI plot on my chart. This could be important ...
