something very odd just happened..... — i have The Beast running on a demo and a live account. On my demo account (which has been running without incident since the end of April), a GBP/CHF trade was in full recovery (1.2.6). I had lots of ...

The difficulty is that you can't be sure which way the market is going to go, or, more importantly perhaps, when it will correct itself after a massive move. The scale of news that might arise in relation to USD could rival 2008 in terms of effect. ...

there may be trouble ahead..... — Given the current situation in respect of a potential debt default by the US, I've started shutting down TB on all pairs on my live account. I'm currently tied into USD/CAD and USD/JPY, both long and in ...

A phenomenal amount of work has gone into this EA. Are you not recommending it for live trading on the basis that you occasionally have to intervene to close profitable trades? No EA is "set and forget". I've been trading this live (along with many ...

The difference is very simply: fxozgirl is using a much higher lot size than is considered optimal for The Beast. I'm making about the same returns as you (15%), and I'm using $0.20 per pip on a $4k balance (limited to a max of 5 pairs and all the ...

I also have a live account with Go Markets and find them to be pretty good. Execution is lightening quick most of the time (I use a UK VPS), but best of all is their Mt4 Iphone app. It's free and pretty handy for quickly checking things/cancelling ...

Actually, you would be surprised. I've had periods of up to a couple of weeks where the floating DD on my main account has hung around 2-3% and there has been barely any realised DD, so it's quite possible that fxozgirl is trading $0.10 per pip and ...

Something is not quite right here. If 0.01 lots on your account = $0.01 per pip, and you're limiting to 5 pairs, I can't see how you could be hitting 175% growth in 2 weeks

I trade $0.20 per pip on a $4k account with pretty much the same ...Sixths trading - an EA by macman, Bob and Steve mk 2

Are you just using the default lot sizes in the EA? I think I may know what the problem is (I use FinFx). You often get that error when the EA and the brokers lot size doesn't "match", for example and EA that is designed to put a trade in of 0.01 ...

With the greatest of respect, I don't think you're understanding what "random" means. You've just given an example of a "random" entry which is a either a buy or sell, calculated by reference to the historical movements of the pair. That's not ...
