I thought the floor had a lot of political and business support in switzerland so seems a bit strange the Management of the Swiss industry association SGV are asking for the floor to be stopped.

When danthine spoke of negative rates the other day there was a 70 pip spike so i would expect more than a few pips if they do bring something in.

yep i would like to see 1.21450 but dont think it will get that far unless they do bring in capital controls or negative rates. Last one was over a 2 day period and 95 pips i think

A close above 1.20300 tomorrow? With next weeks meeting 1.21500 would be nice. But it will probably be sold off again and end up near the floor

Yeah it is very frustrating. The SNB say they can't be seen as currency manipulators but that is what they are. But so is every other central bank at the moment

Yes you are right CPI yoy has been -1% so looking for a drop further would be good for longs.

I agree I think a big problem is the SNB don't want to been seen as currency manipulators by the other G20 nations. They could of talked the franc down a lot more than they have.for instance when Jordan was elected he said they wouldn't bring in ...
