I'm not fishing here so try google. There is a reason for a price to have a totally to the pip straight bottom for 15 minutes and that is that someone is buying all the available volume at that level.

If you want to see how to spot a big buyer, see the current EURUSD 1 min chart from 18:45 (gmt+1) to now (19:00). Totally straight flat bottom at 1.525. That's what iceberg order looks like. edit: pic, see the yellow line

I have an indicator that plots the midline, it's just a simplified median, (upper+lower)/2 For periods I have used 20, in longer term trading daily 50-100 is a good choice for finding trend.

Everyone who likes stochastics should really take a look at donchian channels, it's the same thing as stochastics, only projected as a channel to the chart. Donchian midline is still my favourite trend indicator. url

Not by exact definition but the price touched the last high of friday so I think that's the best we are going to get from this gap. Btw, interestingly if the price will go up from today, it will still mean a divergence on daily chart.
