Sorry, forgot it was an indicator. Could it be made into an ea that would place the orders? The last bit was more of a comment that it would be good to be able to leave the computer on overnight and have the orders placed while I was asleep if they ...

I've had a go with it and it works fine. I wonder if it would be possible for it to actually place the pending orders as well to speed up the backtesting process? Also this would be useful to leave open overnight so I don't have to be there for 1am ...

Hi, thanks for posting, your sell entries look fine but I wouldn't take the long entries because they are against the trend. On this occasion they worked out but in future they may not. Against the trend is lower probability.

That fits in roughly with my back testing although I think I tested data a bit further back than that. Not sure about the Friday/Monday/Sunday candle, another aspect that needs testing. I think the more profitable way to go might be entering a ...

I'd have to test it again as I have tested a lot of other pairs since then. I think it averages 2 or 3 trades a month but can be more.

I'm looking into all sorts of combinations of parameters. The basic idea seems fairly sound so it's just a case of testing, tweaking and testing until the most robust parameters can be found. I'm not necessarily interested in more trades rather than ...

The stoch cross was smooth but the HA signal was not very convincing. It was obviously just going sideways so you would need a bigger move of the HA candle (price) before considering a trade.

Lots of big moves yesterday but going to leave it as NFP day. I'll post some trades on Monday.

Gbpusd out for +40.5 pips. Since yesterday then 2/3 +44 pips. Will definitely look into the trading at the 38.2 retrace and going for 2:1 with the stop at 75. Both of these would have been good winners today and there were a few pairs that set up ...
