For the newbies only: If you are going to buy a pair, buy it close to daily, weekly, or monthly support, with sl on opposite side. Dont chase the market. Get a good price to own it.

yeah, it could, you want to own it near the bottom of the range in an uptrend. If it is an uptrend each correction down is an opportunity to add to your successful position, over time.

It was that letter that caused movement. edit: I was holding 2 longs just before the news and letter. I took profits on one long immediately, figuring whiplash might occur. I closed the second when the letter came out and bearish sentiment emerged.
