It broke on through 111.75. A retest of that and maybe give it another try. GJ and EJ have behaved well, but perhaps the week is drawing to a close. I've posted more here in the last week than the last 5 years combined. Do you post often?

Hi. Hope you are well. I've been focused on EJ and GJ. That jump in $J looks a little fake to me. But the trend is up. Lots of square up below opportunity, but I'd be careful there. Not much to dance here due to too much noise? Good trading.

Yes, been selling and looking for reasons to sell since yesterday. Ignored the jump and selling more since last night. Protecting some nice profits as the market decides what it thinks of things. Good trading.

I'm not sure what you mean by "step in for him in quite that way". I stepped away from this thread out of respect for my teacher, but maintained respectful contact with fti for years after I stopped posting regularly. I'm not qualified to represent ...

I did the same as you (btw -- it's been a long time...hope you are well!) with fti's teaching. I know he would scoff at my approach as being too ridgid, but he is a unique trader in his fearless approach (I freely admit to lacking balls of steel). ...

The juxtaposition of our last posts is perfect. Indignant martyrdom has arrived for you. It's best you take a deep look at your ego. As for the "old school people", and I'm just speaking for myself now, I know that, reading and studying the first ...

Typical FF stuff: a clash of egos (fti always warned about ego) leads to lies which leads to clash of egos which leads to more lies and finally indignant martyrdom. Say a prayer and hope for the best.

This is shameful behavior, and I'm disgusted. Fti is my friend, and I miss him. But my friend's private affairs are his and his alone. Discussing his private life here is the most disrespectful action you can make. I think of him often, and I know ...

There can be a difference between gambling and trading, if you view gambling as gaming (what we do in Las Vegas) and trading as professional trading. Novice traders are usually gambling because they lack market knowledge, don't understand risk and ...

"Professional traders", by definition of that title, have a risk mitigation strategy, which means that they are aware of risks and have strategized for them. For professionals, a Black Swan event is more a risk for their broker than for the trader. ...

What you described is market mechanics, in the simplest terms. Unfortunately, this is not structure. "people interacting with each other in response to their beliefs and emotions" is a byproduct of structure.

I’ve scanned the posts to date, and I hope this thread stays positive and informative as it is. I have a perspective on structure to share. Let me start by saying that the forex has structure because central banks (CB) insist on it, and tier 1 and 2 ...
