They are various moving averages. Forget the yellow line. Doesn't mean anything. If you see a pair ranging in more than a few time frames, I would pass on it. I use this in a 15 minute time frame, and I like to see the hour and 4 hour time frames ...

I understand your entry method now. The NY session is just fine for me, as I can start in at around 6:00 AM my time here in beautiful sunny southern calif. What session do you trade this system in and what 2 hour window do you use? Do you know if ...

Kevian, Here's the Trend Friend. Not much to explain. Generally, I don't take a trade unless at least the one hour reading agrees with the 15 minute.

Here is the ToR 1.20. You'll need to watch it awhile to get a feel for it. The time frames are from 1 minute to 4 hours, and, depending on the strength of the pair in those time frames, you'll get a reading of weaker, ranging or stronger with arrows ...

I notice that you only have the Mom indicator. I use the CCI 8 and Stoch 5,3,3. I also have added two other indicators called Tor 1.20 and Trend friend 1.01. Attached is a screen shot. If the 15 minute signal agrees with the one hour and four hour, ...

Confused here on your pullback entry method. Why wouldn't you have entered on the first blue candle when the price exceeded the box. Wasn't there a pullback, and then price went past the box. Looks like you waited for TWO pullbacks?

CTGUY said he only used this strategy on GBP, and also said to go with the trend. This was not mentioned initially in the previous thread, but was later on. He said to test the strategy on other pairs, as he did not know what the results would be. ...

Tazzman, I see Nerry has already given you the link for the Trendfinder. Here's the ToR 1.20, which is also very good. I have them both on my charts. Excellent indicators for the trend up to 4 hours.

Yes. Looking at it on a screen after the fact, and making judgements based on what you see there is much, much easier than putting it into practice when it comes to real trading. Even demo trading certain stopos and take profit levels is nowhere ...

Tazmann, I like that method. Using half the range. That way, you can set it and forget it, rather than wait for the trade to open. I see you opened (hypothetically) both the long and short. Will have to have some more forward testing, but the ...

I have had some success using this system on a 15 minute chart with the major pairs by using some other indicators mentioned here and possibly in other forums. These are the ToR 1.20, and Trend Friend. When the higher time frames agree, the trade is ...

Yes, the NYB indicator is correct. AKA the NewYork Box. I like it a lot. Going with the trend seems to be the key. Not sure what that trend time frame should be. Although the previous thread didn't discuss it too much, I believe it should be at ...
