4exNinja replied Feb 4, 2013EAs make it possible...I take 99% of my trades on a tablet during work breaks
You just need to set up your charts properly and have sensible stop loss programs. I use 2 depending on whether the market is trending or ranging.EURUSD

4exNinja replied Feb 4, 2013Hehehe, true...there are of course plenty of reasons why the weekly low won't happen on Tuesday. It's just something that happens a lot (read: not always) for the EURUSD. Just like Monday morning (London open) often shows a spike in the "wrong" ...

4exNinja replied Feb 4, 2013Low of the week by tomorrow...as happens so often for EURUSD. Staying on the sidelines for now. If the NYC session nudges things back up I might hop on for a quick long towards 1.3580-1.3612...else I'll hold off until some real market moving news ...

4exNinja replied Feb 1, 2013To be honest, most of the technical stuff can be found on the net for free...and a book teaching you how a trader thinks is way more helpful. A good example is "Hedge Fund Market Wizards".

4exNinja replied Feb 1, 2013Rollercoaster day...glad I disabled my automatic stop loss and monitored stuff manually. Bought EURUSD at 1.3660 just to see it crash by 60pips...but I stayed in thinking that unless the Coral on the H1 chart is broken the uptrend will likely ...

4exNinja replied Feb 1, 2013Bloody roller coaster, I think I lost a few hairs
Went long at 1.3660 just as it was about to crash (donkey timing, go me!) but stuck to it under the condition that the 1.3600 level wouldn't be broken strongly...and luckily that level held. That ...EURUSD

4exNinja replied Feb 1, 2013^^^ This! PS: It wasn't me who took that trade, I think you misquoted me by accident...I'm not suicidal enough to let trades go 400-600pips against me

4exNinja replied Feb 1, 2013100% agree. Seems to be a case of "mhhh, I'll stick with it...it MIGHT still go my way"...which is NEVER a good approach

4exNinja replied Feb 1, 2013Wait...you let those 2 trades go against you by 600 and 400+ pips??? Sure, it could always bounce back, but probably not that far anytime soon. Use tighter stop losses imo!

4exNinja replied Feb 1, 2013Pretty sweet night
AUD PPI came in worse than expected...right followed by bad Chinese data which further hammered the AUD. I went short AUDUSD and long EURAUD for a nice chunk of pips.THV System Trades & Patterns Thread

4exNinja replied Jan 31, 2013The only EU countries with a worse government debt to GDP ratio than the US are Italy, Greece and Ireland...all of which represent a relatively small amount of the EU's economic strength. The EU governments also aren't in a gridlock as bad as in the ...

4exNinja replied Jan 31, 2013The one thing to note is that the EUR seems to cope better with bad news than the USD at the moment...which makes me think the long bias is still valid (especially given the bad US GDP). Overall markets seem pretty asleep today. Everyone's waiting ...

4exNinja replied Jan 31, 2013Yeah, a bit of a reversal is overdue. Having said that, I think the EUR will outperform the Pound in the medium term, so my main strategy for that pair is to buy into dips as long as the medium term outlook stays the same. Living in the UK I can ...

4exNinja replied Jan 31, 2013I think most EUR and US pairs will be calm today in anticipation of tomorrow's news releases. Pairs I'm interested in today include USDCAD (really close to parity) and GBPUSD (will the H4 coral serve as new support...or will the down trend ...

4exNinja replied Jan 30, 2013If you have a well designed system of indicators it's really not that tough unless you're forced to draw Fibonacci and stuff like that manually...I don't, my support/resistance levels are drawn automatically.
