No, you're incorrect. If the distance between the first price point he has marked (1.4384) to the second price point is 320 pips, the second price point would be 1.4084. But as per the chart, the second price is 1.4352, which is 32 pips. In most ...
New idea for strategy with ATR and MA

Not to go off-topic but the EA pair (or any pair for that matter) doesn't move that many pips per day. Perhaps you mean 63.9 pips if you're averaging the last 2 days on that pair. Don't get confused with 4 digit and 5 digit brokers. Best of luck ...

Can anyone tell me how much of an affect the actual DAX components have on running the price up and down? For example if the majority of the 30 companies are negative % can we expect the price to fall as a result? url

Got it, thanks. It seems like your method of trading, being a positional trader, would be suited more to those with larger bank rolls; where you could stay in the market 100% of the time with multiple positions over multiple pairs. Would you say ...

Rags2RichesFX, do you usually trade with larger lot sizes because of the small trading range this pair gives? It just seems the 'time vs return' on EG is quite small compared to other higher ranging pairs

Took 100 points on DAX this session. Two positions short at 9342 and 9322. Although longer term targets could have been 9080-8900 (looking at the weekly and monthly charts), but I like to get in and out of the market. That's me for tonight.

So, when you say an SL of 34, what you mean is 3.4 pips, right? My brokers EU spread is 2.5pips.... it wont even let me put an SL so close to that, as 1 tick in the wrong direction would stop me out. And even with a broker with 1pip spread are you ...

Definitely love the volatility in the DAX however with that, I find, comes larger stop losses. If you're looking to have a tight SL, you had better have a good entry strategy. Where as with FX at least with a slower pair you can get away with a 5pip ...

The Dollar Cost Averaging Pivot Point Trading Method

Hi mate, when you say you use Fib Retracement Pivot Points (Daily) are those regular pivots or the Camarilla pivots? I also use FXCM and can't find the Camarilla pivots (I have an option for Fib Retracement but nothing about Comarilla). Also do you ...

Just had a look at that broker with the huge leverage - on their website it shows max leverage of 1:2000 for accounts less than $3,000, and is automatically adjusted according to the account equity... Account Equity | Leverage $0 — 3000 (1:2000) $3 ...

So, if you didn't pull that $27k out and kept going you would have now been $19million richer? lol If this method was so easy to turn $100 to $27k in 5 days, why not keep doing it and let us know how many times it's worked? Just cash out every fifth ...

When you're using such a small stop loss on a daily time frame (where you can't see the small price moves), you can't get an accurate probability of this method. Where you've marked those entries, plot it on the chart and move to a 5min time frame ...

Putting it another way - we're essentially assuming here that once price breaks the min/max candle by 4 pips and goes back 3 pips to trigger the pending order 1 pip above/below the min/max, that price will not move back 3 pips any more times (where ...

Do you account for spreads? Let's assume we're working with a 'min' candle as per your images. By my calculation with an average spread of 2-3 across most currency pairs (1pip if you're with a good broker on EURUSD), if the bid price went down 4 ...
