Great answer, I think I get the jist of it. To clearify, basically follow the m5 trend towards an h1 target. Not trying to change the m5 trend until the target is reached. The part of trusting the concept is key I reckon.

No I don't look to the daily chart much. Could take forever until any signals plays out, and wicks against could more than well pay the day.

Yes in hindsight it is clear as day. But if there are the bear divs on h1 and bear divs on m5 that I want to trade short, shouldn't I expect m5 ema to be broken? Where you closed, I traded short. And then again on the next div with the 2bar test. ...

Oh yeah, no I mean when I enter a hedge I never feel confident to close one side to bag the profits. Hedging is still lacking in my arsenal and I wonder how you use to play it in different scenarios.
