I am referring to the daily chart. Since you posted the 1hour chart, it does show a different picture and makes a short trade more favorable!

not sure now to post chart, but if you look at daily chart from today all the way back to 1/1/08 you will see a channel forming. based on my limited technical knowledge and understanding, this is what i see.

for G/$, there seems to be a bit of a channel as well. Price is in the lower half, so the long signal would or could be ok, especially if trade signal occurs and its a winner! The GC channel has price at the bottom half and the signal is a short.
