lowem replied Mar 9, 2010Yep in recent days the talk has been of Spain which could be a bigger case than Greece. I'm not quite convinced it's going to be straight down from here. But of course I could be wrong and it goes straight down to 1.3400 blowing away all the stops

lowem replied Mar 8, 2010I'm looking at in-betweens, up to 3850, still considering the downside part.

lowem replied Mar 4, 2010Just as gold couldn't quite hit 1150, oil couldn't quite hit 85, and eu couldn't quite hit 1.3850. But if they do manage to hit all these targets later on then we're off to the races.

lowem replied Mar 4, 2010What a fizzle. Come on, 3735? So much for all the talk about 3800, 3900 or 4000. Now to pick a plausible bottom for this round.

lowem replied Mar 4, 2010Yeah, the stochs needs to hit something higher than 50 before a downside reversal. They've been bumbling along the lower edge for rather long recently.

lowem replied Mar 3, 2010Well at this stage 1.20 would be like a Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG). But over longer term, who knows. Some folks have been whispering crazy stuff about EUR/USD hitting parity

lowem replied Mar 3, 2010That would hit the 50-dma. I may be wrong if this big reversal runs on and on (and on), but IMHO it could stop short of 1.4000.

lowem replied Mar 3, 2010Let's see if oil continues to run for a few more days to the 83-84 range. The breakout above 80 looks bullish but I wonder how long that might last.

lowem replied Mar 3, 2010Would be a while before the longer-term crossover is established (or negated), probably have a few more zig-zags to go. The last time EUR tried to do a bear-market rally it nearly hit the 50-dma too - which currently stands at 1.4017.

lowem replied Mar 3, 2010Getting a little giddy from the roller-coaster thing for the past 2 weeks or so 3450 to 3700 or thereabouts. Might have been a better idea to wait it out.

lowem replied Mar 3, 2010Bit of a fight going on just above 3630. Looking buoyant for now, but who knows.

lowem replied Mar 3, 2010Yep, kinda curious too. Sorry, I'm new here (obviously), just wondering if there's any "user guide" for this forum. [edit] ah, i found the "user guide" inconspicuously sitting at the bottom

lowem replied Mar 3, 2010Short from 1.3600, pretty close to breakeven (I hope). Targeting 1.3450. I'm still wondering about the shorter-term triple bottom vs longer-term crossover thing.
