Yes agree with that. Just need to be aware of the possibility of a repaint. Some indies are so bad, as to make them untradeable. This is not the case here. A useful tool.

Sorry, but the PREVIOUS bar to the current one does repaint sometimes, after the current bar has closed. No question about it. I have seen it happen several times, and tested it on 5m charts to confirm, by marking each 5m bar just after it has ...

Good to see someone else using the higher T/Fs. TPs and S/Ls are such a subjective thing, and I havnt mastered it yet either. Good luck anyway.

Having the same problem Dean. Not sure it will help, but would like to try a different TDI if you get hold of one. Regards

Not being as used to the HA candles as the regular candles, Is there a quick way of getting the open and close figures from the HA as you can with regular candles. ie. Just hover the cursor over the regular candle and you get the High/Low/Open/Close ...

Useful info 2s. Thanks for that. Did you find anything conclusive about if the setup/trigger candle had crossed/closed over/under the 5ema? Its another area that lacks clarity for me. Regards

Just to clarify, are you talking about the No 1 colour changed candle as being the setup candle at its close, as opposed to the 2nd colour changed candle as it opens, which can sometimes be quite large itself. Many thanks for your research, and ...

Quite a nice idea. Could be useful, but its a pity we cant have an additional Fib Tool, just for this. Shame to have to use the built in Fib tool, because it is useful sometimes. Thanks for the good idea.

Hi Dean. If you change the extension (of the file name) of the template from .tpl to .txt, then it will open in Notepad, and you can edit it. Then when you are finished, change it back to .tpl. Dont worry about the warning you get saying ........it ...

40/50pip SL is probably right on this stategy, but the Reward just isnt there for that amount of risk.

I just can not get to the point where 20pips is enough SL. It frequently goes against me for 25+ pips before turning in my direction. Whats your secret?

Is it just me, or have valid trades been incredibly hard to find on the 1hr today?

That is something that has been bothering me too Dean. To give the trade enough room for this strat, I am finding the RR is really not good. If you reduce the SL, then your percentage of wins goes right down. Havnt found the answer either.

Hi Dean. Strange, I have no blue candle showing at all, and Daily and 4hr looks distinctly down. Too risky for me, but good luck anyway.

Hi Neo. I have just done a bit of backtesting and you REALLY have to be disciplined about NOT looking at the CMF until you have found what you consider to be a decent BB squeeze. Amazing how your eyes are drawn to the CMF though. Very interesting ...
