Mainly part-time, but full-time when I can see the market is about to yield a good trading opportunity - like over the past week or so. I mainly trade Gold, but I also watch the S&P, the latter I think is going to crash real soon, in fact I have a ...

The lower trend line of the price channel from 1795.80 on 5/10/2012 is the key source. The range i.e. 1533 to 1537 is also based on an algorithm I use - which seems to work 70% of the time. It allows for the price action spiking through ...

long orders at 1537/8, target 1575, SL 1529 - my spine chills as I write this.

We could see a rally to 1575 at least, whether this support gets hit or not - dare I be slightly bullish in this bearish market!?? More drama!

between 1533 and 1537 seems like near term support, no idea how long the support will last.

The other near term target my math has churned out is 1537.03. We could see a mini bounce off this level.

Staying on the sidelines until I see a clear bullish or bearish pattern.

My charts say 1511 is a reasonable downside target, but could go lower. Gold might just decide to stay in a tight range ahead of the big number tomorrow, we'll see.

Commiserations to those who were stopped out. You saved your account and you live to fight on, that is half the battle won.

Sell order closed at 1559.49 - what a drop! The bears are clearly still in control of the market.

I'm thinking this could be the last push downwards for a while. I would be looking for an opportunity to go long after the close of the US session - we'll see.

there's no way my relatively tiny positions can push gold higher :-) ...looks like we're tanking...again. Could mini bounce off 1561/62/63.

This could be sudden, recommend checking SLs if you are currently long.

Looks like a bearish pattern is forming again, but not sure if we will get a similar downward run like yesterday. We could bounce off 1557/59 area.

I'm staying on the sidelines for now. An alternative pattern indicates that gold could also plummet seriously from here. Even some very experienced market analysts are unsure of Gold's direction. Sometimes waiting it out until the picture is clearer ...
