I don't think it's good to use so many time frames. It's true there was a pin bar on daily rejecting a strong PPZ and also weekly HHR. But the PPZ is more a monthly PPZ than a weekly PPZ (even on weekly you must zoom out to see the PPZ). I think you ...

Here is a breakout setup from 2 weeks ago. NZD CAD daily BUOB closes above the consolidation box. I was lucky I saw it only today because the result was a loss no matter what your entry style was (at close, with stop or limit orders). After the ...

I took exactly the same trade. I wouldn't say it's not a A+ trade maybe only a non-standard trade, box breakouts are one of my favourite type of trades. If you blend the breakout bar with the 2 previous bars it forms an outside bar which has trapped ...

I think price did it's job. Touched FTA and reversed. It touched the FTA, just couldn't break it. I prefer double top than triple top. The more price is trying to break a level the higher the chances are it will break.

I think you should add something important: don't trade into major support and resistance, trade into space not into traffic. Look at the last daily pin bar on GBP USD, then zoom out or look at the weekly chart to see what I mean.

I like to risk more when I think a trade is very good than when I think a trade is only good but not very good. I also think if someone has a small account he should risk a bigger % of his account because it's not catastrophic if he loses as opposed ...

I've tried to touch trade after reading in the "fail better" thread about this method but my opinion is waiting for some confirmation is superior to touch trading. After price breaks out of a box and makes a rounded retest I don't touch trade but ...

I never read the thread from the beginning only read live posts. I couldn't follow j16 because I find difficult to read bar charts instead of candlestick charts (I can't see too well open and close on bar charts). I recommend reading the first 100 ...

Good points. I also don't look too much at FF calendar, the only news I usually don't trade before is non farm payroll the first Friday of month. And I'm sure it's much better to completely ignore the news than to try to interpret the news and ...

That fall from EUR USD was caused by some minimum bid rate news (in the same minute the news were released). I think one of the main reasons why techical analysis doesn't always work is these news and I think what happens during news has nothing to ...

What do you think about taking full profit at FTA and instead of moving to break even wait to price make a retracement (probably wait for pros to trap the BE traders) and then if price goes again at FTA open the position again? In this way if price ...

I think this is a good level from EUR CAD with space to touch trade or look for a PA signal (it also has confluence with a previous swing high).

In EUR CHF if a pin forms at your arrow aren't you worried about the previous swing highs? I want to learn how to trade pin bars with trend line confluence but I don't know if I should trade straight into those swing highs.

If you watch for PA on 1hr/4hr using daily levels you won't trade much more than if you trade only daily. That's how I trade, only important levels from daily and watch intraday for PA but I still take only a few trades (most of the time price isn't ...
