I don't see how a rate cut is going to help...borrowing costs for most European countries is back to normal almost...reducing currency value may increase exports short term but doesn't increase personal consumption power, that's the main thing ...

People are forgetting that this is all a BANK bailout...when banks close people lose EVERYTHING...better for uninsured accounts to lose 20% than lose 100%...gives u a chance to get the money out...the better answer would be declare all the banks ...

on the 4year triangle in GBP/USD, its a big break, id expect a retest of the lower trend line to confirm the move before the fall carrys on...so i guess that would translate to eur/gbp failing at resistance for now...

QE is a waste of time in UK, raising interest rates would encourage saving and cash flows in would further recapitalize banks...growth will only occur if personal Consumption increases, but that will only happen if personal levels of debt are ...

i agree with u...looks like no-one is leaving the euro-zone anytime soon, market shoots upto 1.30 in a week or two, that allows draghi to cut interest rate to stimulate eurozone, everyone happy, id expect some profit taking or a shakeout to knock ...
