I don't have a position now, as I don't know what is the target for the bulls after deal is announced. I think 1.37, but it may go higher in the thin market, or maybe not even reach 1.37 on the "sell the fact" trade. I will wait for the market to ...

Maybe it already reached its ceiling, or maybe it is retracing before another dash up. Both options are possible, and I don't want to hypothesise how much of "deal is done" is already priced in, because no one knows that for sure. What I do know is ...

Finally, a moment of truth for GU. How high it can go after the deal is announced? Popular opinion seems to be 1.37, and I hope we can reach that level, although I have my doubts. I will start selling (or buying EG -- not yet sure) once I am ...

Disagree, this is a trap for bulls. The only positive thing that may still happen is Brexit deal. If it does, maybe we will touch 1.37. It will go down after that. If Brexit deal does not happen, it won't set a new high IMHO.

Today may be the day when TWO 100+ pips gaps, 200 pips from each other, are closed. Isn't Forex wonderful?

No deal Brexit, new Covid strain, Britain cut off from the continent, food shortages expected... and still GU rallies by almost 200 pips from lows. I guess if Boris Jonson declares nuclear war with China, GU will drop temporarily to 1.31 and then ...

No one in particular, I am not here to pick up fights. And by the way, I don't have any issue with trading solely on TA, or any other method. To each his own, and if someone is profitable, he would do well to continue with his approach. But I ...

Well, there is a balance to be struck here. No one likes taxes, but with lower social security, there will be more organised crime to target the same entrepreneurs. And if bureaucrats are not reasonably paid, they will do the same. Is EU model the ...

Probably, but there may be no "no deal" announcement either.

I think that they won't announce anything, the time will simply run out. Which makes it more difficult to trade, as negotiations will continue even after 31st, and there will be new hopes, and so on. But if Boris is to announce anything, yes, he ...

EU will adapt IF there is a real crisis. I hear that EU is about to collapse for almost two decades, and I see no real sign of collapsing, only slow and sometimes painful evolution. This reminds me that throughout Byzantine empire existence, it was ...

When healthy middle-aged people with good education are on the street not able to find a job -- any job, with children hungry at home, and pensioners are not able to pay for their living, they will start to suspect something. Still some way to go ...

And here's another benefit of Brexit for all the Brexit lovers here. When something bad is happening in the UK, EU countries have no hesitation in closing their borders, and the rest of the world gladly follows suit. I wonder if US will ban UK ...

Bears rejoiced at the end of the week before last just to be caught by 100+ pips gap up. Last week, bulls here were ecstatic with plans of 1.4 in a few days, just to be hit with 100+ pips gap down. Market makers certainly have a sense of humour. The ...

Bulls attacked today, and were able to break out of the range. If we keep above 1.34 today, then 1.35+ is very likely tomorrow, assuming we don't have bad Brexit news. As I wrote in the morning, deal is now more likely than no deal, and I think the ...
