Nothing but orders, but that's not really my point. Actually, to correct myself a little, of course orders move price, but orders are placed for a reason other than 'of themselves' (more often than not at least).

Hey Markmm, no i liked the analogy, i just couldn't remember if it was yours. I hope you continue with the thread but it would be a shame for it to take the traditional 'orderflow' route. I think it's a cul de sac. Good trading to you, Dan

It was a good try Markmm, perhaps you can share some of your own thoughts now you're back. Was it your post earlier in the thread that compared trading off charts as akin to driving forward by looking in the rear view mirror? Dan

Hi Birdt, read it this weekend, and read two chapters, The Meaning of Life and Technical Analysis, twice. I think its an excellent read almost despite itself (i didn't find anything in Jason which made me 'warm' to his journey - although that's not ...

Hi Birdt, that's exactly what i'm not after! I think that's part of the reason the Market Wizard series are so appealling time and again, not trading, but traders. Does that make sense? Also, you should be contacting the author for a little kickback ...

Lol. Kratun, you would simply half your position size to each lot. Your risk would remain constant. There's an argument against this in terms of risk vs reward ratio when scaling out of a position, but your original risk strategy need not change at ...

I would just add that at least you weren't trying to pick the bottom like most people were (and are) on Sterling. I think that deserves a pat on the back in itself.

Hello all, my opinion for what it's worth (literally, 2 cents!), while the isolated PA this week on Sterling looks tempting, i see no wider strength in it on the bigger picture and i'll be keeping an eye around the thick green line on both Cable and ...

Yeah, TheWasp said (maybe on here, maybe on T2W) that trading's just like learning a new language, seems to sum it up quite simply to me. Unfortunately, everyone wants a cuddle when things go wrong, and then they overanalyse things to death, down to ...
