If interest rates go up and less asset purchasing we will see increase in servicing the debt and ECB no longer printing money to fund the debt. Someone has to pay for it. I wonder who that will be ;0 Longer term very worrying for Euro imo

Hi mate Speaking with many years experience of this type of trading you should always have an automatic stop, even if the stop you use is huge in distance from your entry. This is purely a safety measure and shouldn't really impact your shorter term ...

So euro confidence not as hoped and still they need to pront money furiously to prop up their banks who hold crazy amounts of debt. Couple that with further US tariffs to come and multiple political crisis the longer term outlook ain't looking good.

Remember market is expecting 4 rate hikes this year, with regards to the statement if we see any deviation back to 3 hikes then again this $ negative.

I think if no rate rise this will be hugely $ negative even with a hawkish statement. I think we are at 95% rate rise chance this month so would be a big shock to the market if no rise.

I plan to do the opposite sell USD after FOMC. Ive seen it many times before after a planned rate rise a currency often is sold off.
