Mikispag replied Sep 15, 2010Agreed
, but still consolidation. Retest of 1.2939 cannot be ruled out IMO.EURUSD

Mikispag replied Sep 15, 2010+ Rebound from Pivot on 5m + bullish Div on H1 = holding longs with TP1: 1.3062 TP2: 1.3123. If 1.2939 will be tested I've got another buy limit there with target @ TP1

Mikispag replied Sep 15, 2010IMO News are used to explain moves AFTER they happened only. In EU market wants to test 1.2939 (50% retracement + Pivot), so bad EU numbers will be "used" for that purpose. Then up to H4 6/8 MM @ 1.3062 and probably 1.3123.

Mikispag replied Sep 14, 2010Next stop: 1.3062. Not trading it, though, I expect a retest of 1.30 as confirmation.

Mikispag replied Sep 14, 2010AU is gold-related and channel-friendly, EU is more technical. I think a small retracement is due soon, even if I'm not shorting it, I've just made my day on the long side

Mikispag replied Sep 14, 2010I'd say 1.30-1.3062 would be a good selling area with TP 1.2939. Every strong move needs a retracement...

Mikispag replied Sep 14, 2010No problem, it's no secret, I use Murrey Math + I-XO-A-H indicator (just for filtering out blatant counter-trend trades I may take, you can ignore it) + OsMA divergence + FX5_Divergence + FX5_MACD_Divergence.

Mikispag replied Sep 14, 2010My view: 1.3000 at least, perhaps 1.3062, then retest of 1.2939. But no trade for me now, too risky.

Mikispag replied Sep 14, 2010You're welcome, here's a screenshot, my system is similar to T@rantula's, even if I'm not as experienced as him. In this case, bounce from Pivot [or 4/8] on 5m + several bullish divs on higher TFs (15m, 30m, 1h). I usually don't trade divs on TFs < ...

Mikispag replied Sep 14, 2010Thanks, I'm always open to new variants. Why you choose to half the period on 5m? To get better entry/exit points when zooming down to low TFs?

Mikispag replied Sep 14, 2010Reached too, congrats to you!
About the Period, are you sure P=32 is better than P=64? I got nice results using P=64, levels are a bit close with 32, but I'll study that.EURUSD

Mikispag replied Sep 14, 2010Strange. Period? I use "64". I have two MM indys, and both say it's 2/8 on 5m. Which indy do you use and what values you input please? Thank you for your time

Mikispag replied Sep 14, 2010Thanks T@rantula, I see we are above Pivot, 2/8 on 5m. I can see some bullish divs on 5m and 1h that confirm my long bias (it's only a scalp, very short-term).
