I have never really understood this line, and maybe someone can clear it up. How do you play an inside bar off the "open of the day" if the open has not occurred yet? Do you still wait for the open, at 6 GMT, then decide which way to go ? OR should ...

Well... if you were in it, you should be up some pips. Entered Long @ 1.9866, SL @1.9830, 1:1 @ 1.9902. 1:1 was hit fairly easily, so 1/2 came off the order. The rest is still running free somewhere near +70 pips. Looks like some resistance near ...

It follows the rules of being up on the day, so we will see. I have 2 open orders in. 1 will TP at 1:1, the other has no TP and will run free, as long as they don't stop out. Rusty Good luck to you too.

I think yes. One way would be to have your program write a line of text to a file. Use an EA on Metatrader to look for a comand in this file, read the command, execute, then erase the line in the file. Only catch is that the EA only runs when a tic ...

It is my understanding that we must take the good with the bad. In the end there should be more good trades then bad! Using the other side of the inside bar to set stop loss should keep loss to a min. But I am still learning
