It may not do much, but to even have the option shows how much the US still makes the rules. In the UK we print a ton of money and use it to make sure crack heads can still get high every day. Woah.... getting a bit too political for FF!
Will there be a QE3?
- TraderLT replied Aug 28, 2012
If risk sentiment turns sour, and there is a sell off in equities - Which looks likely from fundamental and technical views - Then I think there will be more QE. The US has a plan to attempt an export led recovery and for that, a weak dollar will ...

I've found this August to be particularly difficult, however last year I had a really good August. I'm not sure if it really makes a difference year on year, but I find things slow and uncomfortable whenever there is low volume. LD.

Evening all, So after all my complaining about a counter trend EUR/USD trade - I just took it off for 2.1% profit. Happy days. Also at the same time I closed my USDCHF for 1.6%. I took a 1.1% loss on the AUDJPY but the net result was enough to get ...

So if you just buy when you used to sell - and sell when you used to buy - You now have a 70% win rate at 1:1. Fixed? tbh it sounds like one of two things - either your definition of trend following isnt quite right, or your stop is too tight.
Are you a consistently profitable trader?

Could today have been the break? I'm not sure. But I am quite happy after all my complaining about my EURUSD long trade!

I agree. On the short term I wouldn't be surprised if it kept struggling north until the volumes return to the equity markets. Maybe even as late as September. It will need a big fundamental catalyst to set off the new downtrend but with all the ...

I'm going to caveat this as much as possible before I give my answer: Clichés inc. - It is not the system, but the trader that makes the profit. Most systems can be profitable given the correct application. - You should probably 'shop around' before ...

Potential trend changes — Recently the markets have been behaving quite strange. I've read that we have had the lowest volumes (outside of the Christmas season) in 10 years. Could this be because lots of big time traders are all on holiday for ...
