Why not???? Market was expecting more dovish tone fromFOMC. And none thought Octaber taper after govt. shut down. Actually market is priced taper for next year. But today's FOMC suggest that they might taper this year. Look at unemployment rate 7.2% ...

Have you tried eurjpy or gbpjpy ??? They move faster than eurousd. Anyway usd will be strong. Market has already priced for no taper this year... but data is showing a december taper is possible and if that happens usd will be sky rocketing....
