markmm replied Apr 8, 2009I look at 18 pairs from Interbank, I dont look at the obscure ones or ones with less than a screen full of weekly day. This should be enough to present a few good trades every week/day/month depending on TF and style.

markmm replied Apr 8, 2009I wouldn't pass them up, the key is its open/close are within the previous bar and towards the top/bottom 3rd or quarter of the bar, and also a decent nose protruding. Of course then location is the next thing thing to look for.

markmm replied Apr 8, 2009More important than the ema imho, you are buying into a PZ to the left and the pin nose is also a bit small. I would skip this if I was trading 4hr.

markmm replied Apr 6, 2009Question regarding setups. Would you consider a PA bar straddling one or two ema's as a good setup? Obviously if it had room to move to the next PZ? I know we prefer these to be on or next to PZ's.

markmm replied Apr 2, 2009I think the message here is try and limit your losses, move to break even as soon as you have some pips in profit, having a break even trade is like skipping the trade, plus you got some trade experience.
