Great, nice to hear someone else having success with it. Do you use channels for stops and take profit ? I am starting to believe even very simple strategies can work nicely in the longer term if applied with tight risk management.

I signed up for a demo with a spread bet firm. They give you live quotes. You can also signup for a demo with a futures broker, that would give u live quotes on the futures.

Yeah, I have noticed in the past, if the dow makes a big movement, often the carry trade lags behind it a bit, It can be a good heads up, doesn't always work though.

yeah, I agree... 235.50 needs to be broken.. then it may pave the way for 240, unless there is more upevil in the stock markets of course which I would not like to rule out at this time with subprime issues praying on the mind of speculators.

seems to be a lot of resistance around the 2.0180/90 area, I get the feeling a breakout might be coming at some point.

saxo got back to me. 30 pip spread on NZD/TRY. The swap is a huge 8.5 pips per day so it would only take 4 days to cover it. Anyone know any other brokers that offer NZD/TRY? Or USD/TRY and NZD/USD to make the synthetic version?
