markmm replied May 5, 2009I know its a bit early but a nice daily PB on the AUD/USD, has some PPZ's just below so move to breakeven quickly, if it ends as a pin bar tonight that is.

markmm replied May 5, 2009To clarify the reason I skipped this trade with a chart, the BUOB closed right below a pivot point to the pip, price has been rejected here in the past. Maybe placing a Buy Stop above this would have been an option.

markmm replied May 4, 2009Hi Dan, My mistake, I thought that FXDD included sunday bars, but you are right it is a BUOB with Fridays. One thing though is it closed just below a pivot zone 3420-3500, doesn't have much room to move. Regards Mark

markmm replied Apr 24, 2009This was my anaysis of the Eur/Cad pin bar, it was a minor retracement, if it had retraced to 50 then it would have stood a better chance, it is also heading into price area than had lots of bar low highs and a 365 ema. Not enough room to move imho. ...

markmm replied Apr 24, 2009I disagree, a few of us pointed out the problems of the eur-cad daily pin. It was heading into 365 ema and in no mans land with no obvious fib confluence. You need to look at location, its the most important factor imho.

markmm replied Apr 22, 2009I would try and line it up as closely as possible to what price shows as S/R, then round it to the nearest 50, like 1.3150 or 1.3100. Sometimes it might be just showing at a particular price, but as these are zones especially on weekly/daily then ...

markmm replied Apr 22, 2009Im getting to the stage where I want to have as little as possible on my charts, a few major weekly pivot zones, just lime bars on a black chart and draw a fib temporaily now and again to show confluence. I had an indicator I created (Im a ...

markmm replied Apr 22, 2009I agree with you, one of the things that tempts me into lower TFs ie 4 hr is more trading oppurtunites, however I would prefer to stick to daily/weekly as its easier to manage when you are working, and of course everything is more reliable. Is there ...
