acetrader replied Feb 1, 2020Hi rise27, My friend what pairs do you trade? I'll give you what I use. I use the 15M time frame. This is not my primary method of trading, but I do trade 2 pairs with this. You must follow what Trader Yotov describes. It works, but NOT ALWAYS. ...

acetrader replied Jan 28, 2020Yoges, You have summed it up nicely. Yes 28 days is not enough data for a true determination on the method, but those 28 days gave me enough to know on a short term basis there are pips to be made. I use the 15M time frame because I'm a short term ...

acetrader replied Jan 28, 2020Yoges, Here is what I have at this time. Load the GBP/JPY pair on the 15M & scroll back to 12-30-2019. Install a vertical timeline on the 00:00 candle, then load onto the chart the Fibo Retracement tool provided by MT4. Load the Fibo on the date of ...

acetrader replied Jan 28, 2020Yoges, I will continue to look into this as my time allows. Your right it takes time to evaluate trading methods. I observed on the 15M time frame about a 60 - 65% win rate on two different pairs. Yes your correct, all methods will incur losses, but ...

acetrader replied Jan 27, 2020Yoges, In the words of the late great Steve Job "One Other Thing." Just a thought, but hookup a 200 EMA @ Median Price (HL/2) to your charts as maybe a filter of sorts. Just a thought & nothing more.

acetrader replied Jan 25, 2020Parisboy, Thank you for those informative responses. I thought the reason for the 256, 128 & 32 was because of the musical octave. Another question now comes to mind after the mention of the musical octaves. 1. Would using Murrey Math be the same as ...

acetrader replied Jan 25, 2020Parisboy, I have several cycles/envelope questions that I have been pondering. 1. Are the levels of 256, 128 & 32 more significant that other levels such as 200, 100 & 32, or others? I have looked at these & they seem to capture the cycles. 2. Would ...

acetrader replied Jan 25, 2020Bars set at max bars in history = 512000. Max bars in chart = 65000. I did reset the charts each time I tried to change the numbers. These are default numbers as I found them when I starting looking into why the chart wouldn't scroll back further.
