Yeah exactly and it's tricky as hell to prevent it. Even if you have an I- regr filter you will still have to have some kind of release for breakouts. Is this even possible without algorithms?

I got a 1hr slope sell signal here. The only thing preventing a trade is a Hull 16 1hr strength set to strength which is still in buy.

I think it is working. EAX took this trade when I had 1hr trend on cont which is obviously bad but now there is no slope signal. This is good test.

Ok maybe that's why I didn't have luck with slope before- I tried it on older version. Yep just got a signal.

I just tried slope on v.50 and I get signals but not on beta. Weird. Maybe there just isn't a lot of movement right now.

I've tried slope before but I will try again on 1hr trend. You have a MTF backtest analyser that works on MTP 4? That would be sweet. I'm not getting any signal at all on slope on anything.

Nope it delays the entry too much and prevents me from getting to BE. Really just a plain nonlag 21 works well for me even on forex tester 2. The biggest problem is the extreme trades- some don't even move enough to get to BE. Speaking of ...

Same here. I am using nonlag 21 no slopes on 4hr and 1hr but still getting some entries too close to bottom and top.
