Frost, thanks for the reply. That's what I had, too. A loss of $953.20 if someone went .20. I use .15, so my max loss would be $715.00 if completely stopped out. My thinking is that if the stock 35X20 settings make an average of approximately $75.00 ...

Frost, do you know the odds of getting stopped out if someone doesn't trade the US session? Also, if I understood bob correctly, he said going .2 lots on one $2,000.00 account was NOT the same as going .05 lots on 4 $500.00 accounts, as the increase ...

Was going to ask you about this. Is your stop set to hit before the normal stop level of the EA? In other words, would your positions be closed out before the regular EA stop, or are you using such low lot sizes that 5% matches what the EA would ...

If there were stopouts for an entire month, and the EA makes 30% to 50% a week, that would be a good risk to return ratio for me. The key is the probability of getting stopped out. Bob could anser that question better than me.

"Trading .05 is not the same as trading .20 and everything is 4x. The multiplication is done exponentially so if you hit a loss using these numbers at .20 it would clean out a 2000 dollar account. If you want the 4x you need to use 4 accounts using ...

Tommyd, as far as drawdown, most of the trades are made when I'm asleep, but I have seen very little drawdown so far. Last night, there was an hour candle that went 98 pips, and the sell went to level 7. That would mean I had 6 previous sells open. ...

It's Thanksgiving day here in the US, and trading will be very slow, so I left my EA run again today for the US Session. Trading live account at stock settings, and at .15, and account increased by $84.00 since yesterday for a two day total of ...

Rather than use a percentage that my account has increased by, I'll give the dollar figure because I'm currently going .15, and someone could go this amount on a $2,000.00 account, or a $10,000.00 account, and the percentage increase would be much ...

I decided to go live on my $4,000.00 account with IBFX, using the stock settings and going .15 per trade. Will try to give regular reports of the progress, so that others can see what happens on a live account. Will close trades somehwere around the ...

Urban, I agree with you. Four $500.00 accounts where you're trading .05 would be the same as one $2,000.00 account where you're trading .20. I was going to put a post up about that myself. I would trade only .05 per $500.00 in my account, and if I ...

I also plan on going live very soon. Using the original setting of .05 netted about $45.00 from the Tokoyo session to the US open, when I closed all trades. I would have to think that going .10 would double this amount. Knowing that If you're ...

Thanks for your answer(s) Frost. Very impressed with this EA. Currently going .03 using 7 of the safer pairs. The account up almost $200.00 today with a $300.00 drawdown earlier. There was quite a bit of trending earlier, too, so the drawdown not ...

Yes, I'm getting the same thing. I have stock settings of 100x80, but some trades are closed out at minus 50 pips, 57 pips, 35 pips. Glad you brought it up. Must be some sort of glitch in the EA.

Nearly a breakeven day today for me. Turned off the EA a little after the US open. Probably should have also closed the open trades, but left them open.

SomTam, exactly. You can estimate what the price would be if the pair hit the solid line, set a limit order, and set your TP and SL at one of the fib levels all at the same time, and go to bed, or go to the beach. That way, if it's hit, you're in at ...

I'm not a big fan of that level 3 indicator. I sat and watched it one day repaint 17 times on the GBP/USD, meaning it moved that many times down, as the GBP moved steadily down. If you had taken the buy signals you would have lost your shirt. I do ...
