Yes you never know but to me the ideal time for the SNB to announce something would be this month with low liquidity. I still think that they are not going to do anything other than defend the 1.20

Your right it is very boring but i'm leaving mine on. There wasnt much of a bounce before the last meeting because the SNB had ruled out any raise in the floor so i dont see why it should be different in september

The last that i read on forexlive was the SNB had a huge bid at the 1.20 level trying to make a point. And they have desks ready at all times. I would say there are big SNB bids at 1.20050 I think a test is coming

Its obvious if the SNB want this thing away from 1.20 they are going to have to do more.

What i find worrying is we never hear anything from the SNB and the say the franc is overvalued against the euro but on any upmove they are selling into it. It would be easy for the SNB to move this up in these thin holiday markets.

I'm just going to maintain my positions i missed the last spike as i didnt have any take profits on. In these thin holiday markets it would be a ideal time for the SNB to try a bit of stealth intervention.

Thank yes as draghi knows credibility is everything the SNB can't let speculative break the floor

I dont think it will happen with the amount of reported bids of the SNB down at the 1.20 level

I didnt have any take profits on and probably wouldnt of been allowed to close them manually on a spike that quick. CPI month on month and year on year a little better than expected

It was a very quick spike thats for sure. Foreign Currency Reserves (Jul) up to 406.5 billion from 364.9 billion
