9% doesn't seem worth it but I just noticed the max drawdown is around 2%! I'd be comfortable with a max drawdown nearer 20% so there is definitely scope to risk more per trade here.

Yes, I suppose so. I have never yet found an intra day ea that worked but something that follows an eod entry method faithfully can be profitable so maybe we can finalise the rules for this system so it can be fully automated? Maybe not...
