I was also told that the movements during the weekend is considering gaps, and are usually filled before most brokerage companies are open for trading Monday. In other words, the closing price for eurusd on Friday was 1.5483, and now it's gapped ...

Well that information was just given to me by ppl on the eurusd thread. They say the forex market never closes, only slows down over the weekend. Oanda administrator has also told me that their trading platform is open even on the weekend. I notice ...

So you are saying that by the time Sydney opens, most likely the pair will be back to 1.5481 and starts trading from there? But if my brokerage is closed on the weekend, there really isn't any way I can trade the gap as you described, is there?
