A trading partner is not ideal I don't think, best doing it yourself... but if that is not an option, you would need someone who fully understands your system and has the ability to trade it with discipline, then maybe it could work. Just my 2 cents.

USD/CAD might head down there, but just because oil is high doesn't necessarily mean usd/cad will head down. They are closely correlated in the long term, but in the near term it doesn't always work that way. CAD/JPY is a good oil trade too like ...

Interesting strategy, One of the big problems I think you may face is you are going to need a very very high success rate for it to be profitable when you fact in the broker spreads and the very low risk/reward ratio.

I tried them a few months ago for the nfp.. They ignored my limit orders completely on many occasions.. they were better when I used market orders. The spreads can really widen during volatile conditions.
