not only spikes, the problem is that you don´t know when the trade goes in the opposite direction and how long. If you would know this, you could only close the trade and open a new trade. That´s why martingale and hedging ea´s normaly sucks.

yes because the ea execute at a defind level and not why there is a stopploss set in real. Works like if you trade witout stopploss and close the trade manual by a level which you have in mind.
