Craig replied Dec 12, 2008I had 2 big shorts on the NZD/USD with IBFX a while ago which were well in profit, I actually sat in front of the screen as these positions spontaneously closed out all by themselves, I closed the account the next day. Fucking bullshit.

Craig replied Dec 4, 2008I'm not sure that's what you meant
It is the lack of middleware in the FIX solution which is peaking my interest. I already have ATS software, but at the moment it is connecting though TWS to IB, TWS is a pain (as are other aspects of IDEALPRO). ...MB Trading Futures - Introduction

Craig replied Nov 29, 2008I don't think it makes any sense to go back that far, after all we are looking to profit in the present, not find market characteristics from 20 years ago. But that is just my opinion. This is in fact exactly what I do, but it is not a 'holy grail', ...

Craig replied Nov 28, 2008He was this guy that used to hang on various forums a couple of years ago, he developed some crazy complex grid EA, which he of course swore blind was not a grid EA, but reading his account statements it was pretty obvious. At the time his EA seemed ...

Will my scalping EA survive live?
-
Craig replied Nov 28, 2008'Scalping' usually depends on lots of price little movements, the measure of the movement of the price is called 'volatility', my experience is that there is more volatility on the demo account, of course I have no idea how your EA works so ...

Craig replied Nov 28, 2008You will more likely be slaughtered by the smaller volatility on their live account.

Craig replied Nov 28, 2008These 2 posts by topherk88 and Gaston are the best posts I have read on this forum in years, a refreshing change from the drivel passing as wisdom freely dished out here. May I also suggest that going to another forum starting with the letters E & T ...
