I guess it depends how you hedge it.. there are many different ways to hedge the carry trades. Some traders even use a non swap paying broker to cover the short side. This might annoy the broker though. I doubt you would ever find a non swap broker ...

I prefer to go with the trend finding good entries, keep risk down, rather than specifically loooking for OS/OB... there have been times where pairs have been classed as OS/OB by indicators for weeks at a time on the indicators.

I've only tried it on demo with saxobank. Be careful if you open an account though.. The customer support guys are very annoying.. Constant phone calls.. I did hear someone mention oanda offers TRY pairs, I haven't looked myself though.

I think most people are the same initially, I know I was.. Thats fair enough.. I prefer to treat my account like I am trading my life savings.. even though I am not, far from it. It helps me to remain disciplined and focused.
